Zion Lutheran Church donates $2040.68 to
St. Croix Valley Veteran's Memorial

Zion Lutheran Church of Farmington, Wisconsin donates $2040.68 to the proposed St. Croix Valley Veteran's Memorial to be built in Osceola, Wisconsin. Spokesman for Zion Lutheran, Don Stelter, presented Osceola Historical Society members John Jenkins and Romona Paulson the check earned from a pie booth that the church members worked during the recent Osceola Community Fair. The Dresser - St. Croix Falls VFW and the Osceola Historical society are working to get enough money to build the memorial. The Village of Osceola has promised to donate land next to the Osceola Creek in Osceola for that purpose. Any person wishing to donate to this proposed area could do so by going to any RiverBank office and giving money to the Veteran's Memorial Fund.
